5.0 out of 5 stars A five-star review on Talon, Come fly with me by Gigi Sedlmayer, September 8, 2014

What a wonderful story! It’s full of funny situations that make me laugh but at the same time it is a serious book with a message. It’s about how a family supports one of its members who has a disability. Ten-year-old Matica is smaller than his brother, who is 4, due to a growth disorder. She has no friends and she is not accepted by the Indians in the village they live in Peru. So with nobody to speak and have fun, she starts watching birds till one day she discovers a big one and becomes fascinated by him. She learns he is a condor and full of patience she follows and watches him till … If you want to know more you need to buy the book. You won’t regret it.
I think this is a great story that children and adults alike can enjoy reading and learn about condors.
